In an AI-flooded world of generic content and attention-grabbing prompts, authentic content is getting harder to spot. The noise is loud, the speed is relentless, and everyone’s playing to the algorithm. But what cuts through?
Trust.
Not the lip-service kind. The type of trust that’s built on consistent messaging, thoughtful systems, and leaders who know how to connect, not just convert.
I’ve spent over 30 years working in advertising and design, building multiple businesses of my own. I’ve been privileged to work with 1000s of global brands and local businesses. Trust is key for successful transactions in life, in both personal and business relationships, it takes time to build but is quick to lose.
I’ve been building AI systems for business for over three years, but I consider using AI to connect to my external customers to be high risk. I have over 15 internal specialised AI Team Bots, but my customer relationships are highly valued. The gains haven’t outweighed the risks until recently.
With Gemini’s introduction of Nano Banana, the game has changed again. I’m currently spending my days building brand governance AI bots for brand consistency, optimising communication, and auditing for alignment. But I’m not in the business of branding for branding’s sake. I’m in the business of trust.
And trust isn’t a campaign. It’s a commitment.

Algorithms fling headlines, hooks, and hype our way faster than a 90s dial-up scream. But trust?
Trust is slow.
It’s earned in quiet moments, through clear messages, and with consistent alignment between what words and behaviour.
